Katherine J. LeCocq’s work ranges from the whimsical and playful to staid and evocative representations of the natural world. Painting and drawing since she was a child, her work is rendered in media, including acrylic, pen & ink, paper cutwork, and watercolor.  These works range in size from artist trading cards to wall murals. She has exhibited her work throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Some of Ms. LeCocq’s public works can be viewed in New Jersey at the Pennsauken Free Public Library’s children’s area murals, and also as a remembrance installation at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Delaware. She is actively involved with area arts organizations Barrel of Makers and Delaware Fun-A-Day. Ms. LeCocq is originally from Seattle, Washington, a graduate of the distinguished Mason Gross School of Arts at Rutgers University, and is now delighted to reside  in Wilmington, Delaware.

The very nature of what artists do means that the vast majority of their works are one of a kind pieces. Please visit us in the gallery to see pieces that are still available for purchase.
