Here’s a Sneak Peek of what’s in the show…
Amber Fontenelle…
…was born and raised in Newark, Delaware. Her work was sold for Art studio 4:10’s Annual Art exhibition from 2014 through 2018. She graduated from Towle Institute in 2017 and went on to attend Cecil College. Her art was also displayed in the 2018 Spring and Fall Student Show and the 2018 Cecil Con show at Cecil College. She also participated in 2018’s Delaware Fun-A-Day Exhibition. She creates work because she loves beautiful things. She has always been fascinated by beautiful things and the power they have to influence people. Traditionally, she prefers to freely mix media rather.
Mckayla Imperatrice…
…is an aspiring graphic designer and digital artist. While digital artwork is her current focus, Mckayla enjoys working with a variety of two dimensional mediums. These fine art mediums have played a crucial role in her transition into the digital art world. Mckayla looks to contemporary illustrators and designers for inspiration while incorporating techniques used by painters to create compositions that spark the most visual interest. Mckayla’s work was recently featured on a billboard that she designed for The Kirsh Law Firm. She actively participated at exhibits at Cecil College in North East, where she graduated from in May of 2019.
Xyare Lambert…
…grew up watching her father draw everyday which really developed the love that she has for art. Xyare went to Wilmington University after her high school graduation where she was a behavioral science major, in attempt to understand her own psychological disorders which included bipolar, depression, and anxiety. While attending Wilmington University Xyare’s grandmother passed away leaving all her painting supplies. With new found motivation and an attempt to connect to her grandmother, Xyare began painting again and fell in love. Knowing her major at Wilmington University no longer suited, she found her place as a fine arts major at Cecil College. Xyare graduated in 2019 with three Associates of Fine Arts degrees with concentrations in drawing and painting, ceramics, and studio.
Matt Rhoads…
…is an artist who attended Cecil College and obtained a Certificate in Photography as well as an Associates Degree in Fine Arts. His work has been on display in three of the Cecil art exhibits. Art has always been a huge part of his life since he was raised in a family of artist. He creates his art as an outlet for his thoughts and feelings. Drawing has been his escape throughout childhood, and it became his preferred method of communication. He creates art that makes people see the darkness that lurks in the shadows and within themselves. He is often inspired by comic book and video game characters.
