Ki Crittenden, ceramicist
Ki Crittenden learned pottery in her native Korea, and perfected her art in Seagrove, North Carolina. She has been a potter all of her life. In recent years, Ki’s functional, multimedia clay pottery lamps have become popular throughout the Brandywine region and beyond. Her works are featured in fifteen galleries in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Ki’s inspirations are nature, especially trees and undersea lifeforms, and human emotions.
Gina Dell, mixed-media artist
Gina Dell always loved art and painting growing up. She took some art classes in high school and college at the University of Maryland College Park, but she is mostly self taught. She likes to combine more abstract techniques with fine details as it makes the paintings more interesting and they grow with you over time. Her medium of choice is acrylic paint, but she also uses additional pouring mediums, sand and sometimes shells to give the paintings more depth and add elements of fun. What she likes about painting is playing with the paints and working with things that don’t go quite as planned but turn out to be just right anyway. When painting she can forget about everything else. Then time stops and next thing you know there is a finished piece. When she is not painting she enjoys spending time with her family wherever adventures leads. They live in North East, Maryland.
