Susan Procario
Susan Procario has always liked the idea of photography but was a point and shoot photographer from the first. She didn’t know a thing about how a camera worked, composition or lighting until she got her first good camera in 2009. From that point on, she avidly pursued the art. She shoots mostly for pleasure and gifts for friends but has been in two juried contests. She took first place in one of them. Susan is also a volunteer photographer at Longwood Gardens. She loves exploring abandoned buildings and looking for ways to bring beauty back to what once was lovely. It’s what makes her heart pound and her “trigger” finger quiver.
JoAnn Teel
JoAnn Teel of Havre de Grace, Maryland, enjoys working with mixed media. A lifelong artist who has worked in clay, textiles, photography, and the decorative arts, she is pleased to introduce you to “Redux”, her first featured collection of one-of-a-kind pieces. This selection of her work is comprised of items found in antique or consignment stores that she transforms into treasures. Looking past the obvious of their original form and function, her goal is to appreciate what has been discarded in order to enhance the underlying beauty.
