Description
A Difficult Animal
A Difficult Animal is a poetry collection with the narrative arc of a memoir.
“There is a tenacious, defiant curiosity here, peering back into histories both familial and personal, stepping to the fringe of dangerous roads, wild woods, unclenching heart and fist, testing the light of an uncertain future. Lisa Lutwyche is a gifted artist; her words are music and color, yes, but also muscle and blood. This is a book that will leave a welcome scar.”
~ Shannon Connor Winward
