Description
Between 1982 and 1994 Ken Stone published Thirteen Magazine; its uniqueness was that every poem had to be thirteen lines. I had rarely line-counted my poems except for the occasional sonnet or villanelle. I was intrigued so I took the challenge, finding it very enlightening. I reduced excess imagery and learned the true meaning of every word counts in a poem. – RAY GREENBLATT
