with Irmgarde Brown, Author 

In Anne Lamott’s book, “Bird by Bird,” she writes, “But I still encourage anyone who feels at all compelled to write to do so. I just try to warn people who hope to get published that publication is not all that it is cracked up to be. But writing is.” This is what I want to inspire you to do. Along the way, many of us were convinced that we were “not creative,” “not artistic,” “not-not-not.” And I say, “Write It Down Anyway.” In this workshop, I will share simple tricks to get started. Bring a notebook. Let’s write.  

Irmgarde is a retired librarian/manager, a long-time blogger, a photographer, a playwright and director, an active volunteer in the Havre de Grace arts community, a friend to the Village of Hope, Zambia, a student in the Living School for Action and Contemplation, and a newly branded Episcopalian after forty years in the non-denominational church.
